He was born in Edirne. Following graduation from Bilkent University, Faculty of Law, he got his masters degree from Ankara University Social Sciences Institute in the field of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law. 

Following years of experience as an associate and a partner in an IT oriented law firm, he established Özocak Law & Consultancy in 2018. 

He has many publications in Criminal Law, IT Law, Sports and eSports Law and he involves in seminars and courses in these areas of law. 

He is one of the leading authorities in Criminal Law, IT Law, Sports Law and Intellectual Property Law, he keeps on his studies in Ankara University Social Sciences Institute in the field of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law at the doctorate level. He is fluent in English and intermediate in Italian.
